I do not know who I am and I am trying to find myself. I’m trying to learn more about myself and my place in the world. Something I find myself contemplating a lot is the loneliness of the individual and the individual’s connection to the universe. I especially enjoy digital photography and video because I can capture a moment and manipulate it to portray the scene as feel it. I also like to explore explore the tension between loneliness and connectedness. One thing I do know is that I love nature and especially water. Water calms me, and I find it is easy to be at peace when in solitude and nature. As someone who manages anxiety, having things that calm me and make me feel peaceful are very important. I’m also an animal lover, and in particular am a little obsessed with dogs. I think this love of dogs is because of how dogs love to connect and play with other dogs and people. A dog is always happy to see it’s owner and many are eager to meet new people. I guess I’m an optimist at heart and a bit of a romantic. I love the ideas of first loves and nostalgia. I’m a firm believer that it is not sexuality that makes love; it is the emotions people share and the connections we make.
